ASHA Survey Reports

ASHA’s survey reports provide information on a range of professional issues affecting audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and assistants. The reports contain written analysis along with statistical tables and charts. Most reports have an annual or biennial cycle.

 

Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants Survey

This survey report provides information on assistant demographics, earnings and benefits, primary tasks, challenges, and career plans.

Audiology Survey

This survey is designed to provide information about salaries, working conditions, and service delivery, as well as to update and expand information gathered from previous Audiology Surveys.

COVID-19 Tracker Survey

ASHA conducted surveys in March, May, and October of 2020 to learn about the impact of COVID-19 on members.

CSD Education Survey, National and State Aggregate Reports

A comprehensive survey that collects data that tracks trends in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) education.

Interprofessional Practice Survey

The purpose of the survey was to assess the degree of engagement among audiologists and speech-language pathologists in interprofessional collaborative practice (IPP).

Membership Survey

ASHA conducts this survey to gauge member satisfaction with the association and to gather information about a variety of issues related to the audiology and speech-language pathology professions.

Salary and Wage Data

ASHA conducts the Audiology, Schools, and SLP Health Care surveys every two years. The surveys collect information on a variety of topics, including earnings.

ASHA conducts the Schools Survey to gather information about professional issues related to school-based services.

SLP Health Care Survey
